Overflowing With Family Fun!
Family fun is overflowing in Oceans of Fun. Two play areas designed just for kids allow small children to splash around to their hearts' content.
Little Squirts
Captain Kidd's pirate ship is designed especially for children. It features slippery slides, bursting water cannons and other playful treasures.
Crocodile Isle is a "sprayground" for children containing water slides, play attractions and a 2,000-square foot pool.
Can Mom and Dad come too? Sure they can! Parents will love playing with their children on a variety of attractions at Oceans of Fun. Families can all get wet together while enjoying Buccaneer Bay, Caribbean Cooler, Coconut Cove, Paradise Falls, and the Surf City Wave Pool
The requirements for each ride vary. All height and safety requirements are strictly enforced.
Official Height Measurement
Children may be officially measured at the Guest Services Office at the Park Entrance, where they receive a wristband for the height category in which they belong. Children may also be measured without shoes at this time for Oceans of Fun attractions. For the safety of your child, a standard play shoe that does not contribute excessively to the child's height will be permitted. Platform shoes, for example, are not permitted to help a child meet a height requirement. Oceans of Fun reserves the right to ask that shoes be removed to ensure that a child's height is not being artificially enhanced or manipulated.
First Aid
First Aid is located next to the Wave Pool and is open during Oceans of Fun operating hours.
Emergency Medical Technicians are available if needed. If necessary, the Park is only a short drive to local hospitals. The First Aid station can treat minor cuts, abrasions, etc. Most medicines and medical equipment may be stored in either First Aid station, with the exception of bee sting anaphylaxis kits.
Mothers who prefer a private area for nursing may do so at the Oceans of Fun First Aid station next to the Wave Pool.
Kid Track
Kid Track is a program at Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun that assists in reuniting lost children with their parents or guardians in case they become separated while visiting the Park. Parents or guardians may register children for the Kid Track program at the Guest Relations office located at the Park Entrance. An identification band is placed on the child that has a security code used to quickly reunite the lost child with their parent or guardian. While the program is available to all guests who want to register their children, Kid Track works best for guests who carry cell phones or pagers.
Lost Children
An employee will escort any child who appears to be lost to the Lost Children Center at the Oceans of Fun First Aid Station next to the Wave Pool. If you and your child become separated, please ask any employee for assistance.
Life Vests
Life vests are available free of charge (refundable deposit required) at George's Tubes and at Toobie Or Not Toobie in Oceans of Fun. A lifejacket is required for anyone who is less than 48" tall in bare feet or is an inexperienced or non-swimmer. Personal life vests that carry the Coast Guard-approved emblem may be brought into Oceans of Fun. Wave-riding boards are not permitted under any circumstance. Water wings, "swimmies" and any other personal flotation devices that do not carry the Coast Guard-approved emblem are not permitted in Oceans of Fun.
Diaper Covers
All children in diapers in Oceans of Fun are required to wear a waterproof diaper cover. Diaper covers can be purchased at Trade Nick’s Gift Shop located just inside the entrance to Oceans of Fun.
