The following tips are designed to ensure that guests with hand held infants and young children have a comfortable visit to Worlds of Fun.

Kid Track

Kid Track is a program at Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun that assists in reuniting lost children with their parents or guardians in case they become separated while visiting the Park. Parents or guardians may register children for the Kid Track program at the Guest Relations office located at the Park Entrance. An identification band is placed on the child that has a security code used to quickly reunite the lost child with their parent or guardian. While the program is available to all guests who want to register their children, Kid Track works best for guests who carry cell phones or pagers.

Lost Children

An employee will escort any child who appears to be lost to the Lost Children Center which is located inside Beagle Bay Outfitters in the Camp Snoopy section of the park. If you and your child become separated, please ask any employee for assistance.

Strollers & Wagons

Strollers and wagons are permitted inside of Worlds of Fun. You may bring your own stroller and wagon to the Park. If you do not have a stroller, they are available for rent at the Rental Center just inside the Park Entrance next to All Stars Grill. For all the details on rentals at the Park, including strollers, wheelchairs and electric wheelchairs, please visit our Frequently Asked Questions Page. Wagons are not available for rent at the Park.

Official Height Measurement

Children may be officially measured at the Guest Services Office at the Park Entrance, where they receive a wristband for the height category in which they belong. For the safety of your child, a standard play shoe that does not contribute excessively to the child's height will be permitted. Platform shoes, for example, are not permitted to help a child meet a height requirement. Worlds of Fun reserves the right to ask that shoes be removed to ensure that a child's height is not being artificially enhanced or manipulated.

Rides

Hand-held infants (Infants who cannot walk by themselves) are permitted to participate in the following rides and attractions: Le Carrousel (bench only with a responsible person) Le Taxitour (back seat only with a responsible person), Worlds of Fun Railroad (not permitted to sit on outer edge).  For detailed information about each attraction, please visit our Rides Section.

Parent Swap

Parent Swap is a service available for those who have small children but no provision for childcare while participating in height-restricted rides at Worlds of Fun. One person may wait with the child on the midway near the exit, or in the designated area on the exit side of the platform or station, while the other guests in the party enter the line. When the rest of the party has exited the ride, the person who waited with the child may enter the ride through the exit and ride. Talk to the ride host/hostess for assistance. You may receive a Parent Swap Pass to be used at a particular ride, though all rides do not use a Parent Swap Pass.

Sunscreen

Sunscreen is available at most gift shops throughout the Park. Hats and sunglasses also help protect little ones from sun damage, and can be purchased at several gift shops throughout the Park.

No Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in the Camp Snoopy section of Worlds of Fun.

For those who wish to smoke, there are clearly marked designated smoking areas throughout Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun. Smoking is permitted at these labeled areas only.  Additionally, smoking is not permitted at indoor restaurants, theatres, gift shops, and arcades.

Kids Meals

Worlds of Fun provides a variety of nutritious food for your children. From favorites like macaroni & cheese and hot dogs, to milk and juice, to cotton candy, there is something that is sure to please your little one. Special kids meals are served at All Stars Grill, Coasters Midway Grill, Zarda Bar-B-Q, Vittle Griddle, Rangoon Refresher, and Congo Clearing in Worlds of Fun.

Picnic Lunches

Food or picnic lunches, coolers, and beverages may NOT be brought into Worlds of Fun. For those who prefer to bring their own food for their children, a Public Picnic Area is located just outside the Park Entrance. Tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Worlds of Fun is not responsible for items left unattended, lost or damaged.

Baby Food & Baby Bottles

Baby food and baby bottles are not available at the Park. Guests are permitted to bring these items into Worlds of Fun. These food items must be kept inside of a cooler and checked in at the Guest Relations Office before you are permitted to take the food inside the Park. Bottles may be warmed at any walk-in restaurant in the Park. Milk and canned juice is available at a variety of food stands throughout Worlds of Fun.

Nursing

Worlds of Fun recognizes that mothers have the right to provide natural nutrition to their children. Mothers who prefer a private area for nursing may do so at the Worlds of Fun First Aid station near the Park Entrance.

Changing Areas

Diaper changing stations are available at all restroom facilities for the convenience of Mom or Dad.

First Aid

First Aid is located just inside the front gate and is open during Worlds of Fun operating hours.

Emergency Medical Technicians are available if needed. If necessary, the Park is only a short drive to local hospitals. The First Aid station can treat minor cuts, abrasions, etc. Most medicines and medical equipment may be stored in either First Aid station, with the exception of bee sting anaphylaxis kits.
