Hey Everyone!
We've been busy decking out the park for Celebrate America, and are excited for it to begin this weekend. My favorite new part of the summer fun is the Buzz at the Park event happening tomorrow. Tune to 96.5 The Buzz for updates from the park throughout the day from all your favorite radio personalities.
Of course, Celebrate America is filled with food, fireworks, music, and family fun, so I hope to see you here this weekend for all the excitement. FIREWORKS! KABOOM!
Allright, so I like to consider us handy. You need a new roller coaster? Check. You need ice cream on a funnel cake? Yep. Need a place for a soccer tournament? Why not!
Worlds of Fun hosted its first annual G Force Soccer Tournament on Saturday. The G Force 3v3 Experience brought 32 teams from the local Kansas City area and out of state teams in the Midwest region. The ages ranged from U7 – U18. Teams in each division were awarded metals and individual awards went to teams who placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. All teams that participated were guaranteed four games. In addition, every player on a team (up to six) and one coach received Twilight tickets to the park. This event was a great success and is something we hope to continue for many years to come.
