The Worlds of Fun & Oceans of Fun Public Relations Department offers media a number of materials online through the Media Access Web Service. 

The Public Relations Department is happy to assist in setting up interviews about the Parks and their attractions.

The park will issue up to two complimentary admission tickets to full-time media personnel who request to visit the park for a leisure visit any day. To request media Passes, please email or fax a letter of request to the Worlds of Fun Public Relations Department (contact information is below).  A minimum of one week is required for media who are not on assignment. 

In your request, please include the following information:

• Name
• Position
• Company
• Requested date of visit
• Number of tickets (up to 2 per season)

All requests are subject to approval by Worlds of Fun.  Upon being notified that your request has been approved, your ticket(s) are placed at the appropriate Park's Guest Relations booth to be picked up on the date of your visit.  Please bring a photo ID to pick-up tickets.

The following guidelines are to be observed at all times. These guidelines have been established for your safety and for the safety of our guests and employees. Thank you for your cooperation!

• All members of the media with photo, radio, video and/or television equipment MUST be accompanied by an assigned Public Relations escort AT ALL TIMES while on park property.
• All photo/radio/video/television media representatives are to remain on midway areas only, and are never allowed in any restricted areas except by special permission from the Public Relations Department.
• Taping, filming and photographing inside show venues during a performance is not allowed, except by special permission from the Public Relations Department and the performers involved.
• Media representatives and all associated production activities may not inconvenience guests of the Park in any way.
• Cameras and recording devices are not permitted on any ride except with special permission from the Public Relations Department. The Public Relations Department maintains a library of b-roll footage and still photos of major rides, shows, and attractions.

Media representatives may interview guests only with the explicit consent of the Public Relations Department and the guests involved.
