While at the Parks, media is required to adhere to the In-Park Media Guidelines. Media passes are available media personnel:On-Assignment:
Worlds of Fun & Oceans of Fun will issue a complimentary park admission ticket to any reporter, photographer or videographer working on assignment. Please follow the media pass request procedures below. Tickets must be requested and approved by the Public Relations Department in advance.
Off-Assignment:
The park will issue up to two complimentary admission tickets to the full-time media personnel listed below who request to visit the park for a leisure visit any day during the 2007 operating season. These passes are limited to two per position for one visit during the season. Only news department employees are eligible for these passes. Please follow the media pass request procedures below. Tickets for media (not on assignment) must be requested a minimum of one week in advance and approved by the Public Relations Department.
We are aware that some newspapers, Internet media, radio stations and television stations prefer their personnel not accept complimentary passes to events and attractions. We respect this policy and gladly will refuse passes to your personnel if you so indicate.

Owner, Program Director, General Manager, News Reporters, News Director, On-Air Personnel, Assistant News Director, ProducersTelevision Stations:
Owner, News Reporters, General Manager, Producers (Non-advertising), News Director, On-Air Personnel, Assistant News Director, Field producers, Program Director, Videographers, Assignment Editors, Production (Non-advertising)Any individual whose full-time job falls within one of the above categories may request up to two media passes in 2007.
Media Pass Request Procedures:
To request Media Passes, please mail or fax a letter of request on official letterhead to the attention of the Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun Public Relations office (contact information is below). A minimum of one week is required for media who are not on assignment.In your request, please include the following information:
Name
Position
Company
Assignment (if applicable)
Requested date of visit
Number of tickets (up to 2 per season)
Contact information
All requests are subject to approval by Worlds of Fun. Upon being notified that your request has been approved, your ticket(s) are placed at the appropriate Park's Guest Relations booth to be picked up on the date of your visit. Please bring a photo ID to pick-up tickets.
