Oceans of Fun Kids
The following tips are designed to ensure that guests with hand held infants and young children have a comfortable visit to Oceans of Fun. For more information or to enroll in these services, visit Guest Relations at the park's entrance.
Baby Food & Bottles
Baby food and bottles are not available at the park. Guests are permitted to bring these items into Oceans of Fun. These food items must be kept inside of a cooler and checked in at the Guest Relations Office before you are permitted to take the food inside. Bottles may be warmed at any restaurant in the park. Free ice water is available at any food location.
Changing Areas
Diaper changing stations are available at all restroom facilities for the convenience of Mom or Dad. Children who are not potty-trained must wear a swim diaper.
First Aid
First Aid is located near Surf City Wave Pool and is open during operating hours. Mothers who prefer a private area for nursing may do so at First Aid, and most medicines and medical equipment may be stored during your visit.
Kid Track
Kid Track assists in reuniting lost children with their parents or guardians in case they become separated. An identification band with a security code is placed on the child to quickly reunite a lost child with their parent or guardian.
Kids Meals
Oceans of Fun provides a variety of nutritious food for your children. Special kids meals are served at Hot Dogger and Calypso Cafe.
Lost Children
An employee will escort any lost child to security personnel until you are re-united.
Lifejackets
A lifejacket is required for anyone who is less than 48" tall in bare feet or is an inexperienced or non-swimmer. Children should always be accompanied by an adult.
Official Height Measurement
To avoid being measured at each attraction, children may be officially measured at Guest Relations to receive a wristband corresponding to their height in bare feet.
Picnic Lunches
Food or picnic lunches, coolers, and beverages may NOT be brought into Oceans of Fun. For those who prefer to bring their own food for their children, a public picnic area is located just outside the park entrance. Oceans of Fun is not responsible for items left unattended, lost or damaged.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted at Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun, except in clearly designated smoking areas throughout the parks.
Sunscreen
Sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses are available at Trader Nick's near the park entrance.
Swimwear
Trader Nick's sells a variety of the newest swimwear and accessories, as well as towels, sandals, and other clothing.
