Guest Relations is located just outside the Main Entrance and is your complete source of information on Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun. Worlds of Fun First Aid is located just inside the Main Entrance of Worlds of Fun. Oceans of Fun First Aid is located adjacent to the Surf City Wave Pool.
Storage lockers, wheelchairs, electric scooters and baby strollers are available on a first-come, first-served basis for a small rental fee and are located just inside the gate (next to All-Stars Grill).
The best time for quicker service is at non-traditional lunch or dinner times: 11:00-11:30 a.m., 2:00-3:00 p.m., or after 7 p.m.
ATMs are conveniently located near the Main Entrance of Worlds of Fun, near Vittle Griddle in the Americana section, and near the Wood and Leather shop in the Africa section. The Oceans of Fun ATM is at Trader Nick’s, near the Main Entrance to Oceans of Fun. An additional ATM is located at the Worlds of Fun Village clubhouse.
Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover Card, American Express, and most Debit Cards for park admission, at most merchandise locations, and at select restaurants throughout the parks.
Parking for vehicles that occupy one parking space at Worlds of Fun or Oceans of Fun is $10. Oversized vehicles that require more than one parking space is $15. Parking is complimentary for full-sized buses carrying 25 or more passengers.
Concession areas are located throughout Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun. Coolers, food or beverages may not be taken inside the park. Public picnic tables are located outside Worlds of Fun between parking lots E and F and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun do not permit grilling, open flames or outside vendors to cater picnics on park property. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted outside the serving areas or in the picnic areas located by the parking lots.
In keeping with the family image of Worlds of Fun, we require guests to wear appropriate clothing while in the park. Profanity, illegal substances, and suggestive or offensive clothing are prohibited. Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times. Bathing suits and bikinis are appropriate dress only at Oceans of Fun. Laser pointer/pens are not permitted at Worlds of Fun or Oceans of Fun. Weapons are never permitted on Worlds of Fun or Oceans of Fun property. Use of cameras and/or cell phones are not permitted inside park restrooms and bathhouses.
Picnic facilities are located outside Worlds of Fun between parking lots D and E. Oceans of Fun's picnic facilities are just outside the gate. Neither Worlds of Fun nor Oceans of Fun allows coolers or food to be brought into the park. Grilling and open flames are not permitted.
Height and other requirements on rides are strictly enforced for the safety of all our guests and are posted at every ride. For further information refer to the Rider Safety Guide available at Guest Relations.
When planning your day at Worlds of Fun, we suggest that you travel light.
If you plan an active day of riding rides, we suggest that you bring into the park only items that can be safely secured in cargo pockets, a waist pack or a zipping jacket pocket. To secure loose articles, a cargo pocket must fasten with a velcro or button flap or a zipper, a waist pack should fasten around the waist and have a zipper closure, and a jacket pocket must have a zipper closure.
For safety reasons, purses, backpacks, beverage containers or any other loose articles may not be taken on most rides at Worlds of Fun. These items may be left in a locker, your vehicle, with a non-rider, or at the owner's risk on the ride platform. However, Worlds of Fun is not responsible for items lost, damaged or stolen.
We suggest you arrange a specific time and place for your group to meet prior to entering the park. Neither Worlds of Fun nor Oceans of Fun offer personal paging. If a child does become lost or separated from your group, we suggest you go to Guest Relations located at the gate. For information regarding lost articles, please go to Guest Relations.
Guests at Worlds of Fun or Oceans of Fun who bring cell phones to the park have the opportunity to pick up a free wristband at Guest Relations to write down their cell phone number. The wristband will be placed on the right arm of each of the children in their party. Should a child become separated, the child should locate a park employee who will then activate the KidTrack system. The cell phone number on the wristband will be called and the parent will be informed where their child is being safely kept until they are reunited.
The Rider Safety Guide provides Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun Guests information on ride regulations, guest services, park policies and special services for guests with disabilities. Copies of the Rider Safety Guide are available at Guest Relations near the main entrance to Worlds of Fun.
If you have small children and want to ride some of the rides that have a minimum height requirement but have no provisions for child care while you do, one responsible person may wait with the child on the midway near the exit while the rest of the party enters the line. The party waiting should notify the ride ambassador that the group is taking part in Rider Swap. When the party in line has ridden and exited, the person who waited with the child may ride, entering the ride through the exit. Accommodations can also be made for groups with a disabled rider.
Forgot your still shot camera? Get Kodak film & still shot cameras at selected gift shops. Picture and video taking is not permitted while riding any ride.
You may exit and re-enter the same park on the same day during your visit by having your hand stamped at the exit. If you plan to leave the parking lot, keep your parking receipt. When you return on the same day, just show it to the parking lot attendant for re-entry at no additional charge.
