The 2020 season at Worlds of Fun is almost over. Labor Day Weekend will be our curtain call, which means there are only a few more opportunities for you to seize the summer at Kansas City’s amusement park! Visit the park calendar and plan your visit.

I think we can all agree, it’s been a strange year. Is it business as usual this season? No. Is it still Worlds of Fun? ABSOLUTELY! If you’re looking for fun things to do in Kansas City, here are five reasons to add a visit to Worlds of Fun to your agenda!

1) $29.99 Tickets

For a limited time, daily admission tickets are available for just $29.99 – making it one of the most affordable times to visit the park if you’re not a Season Passholder. This offer is only available online, and reservations are not currently required.

Worlds of Fun Tickets are just 29

As a reminder, all 2020 Worlds of Fun Season Passes have been extended to include the 2021 season. Also, all 2020 upgrades like our dining plans, all-season refills and FunPix have been extended to next year as well, meaning you can purchase today, use them during your visit in 2020 and in 2021.

2) Safe Family Fun

If you’re looking for a great family outing that’s safe and fun, Worlds of Fun is the place. We have implemented a number of new processes and enhanced safety procedures throughout the park to reduce the spread of germs. A visit to Worlds of Fun is a great way to get outside and enjoy some quality family time!

We will forever be committed to helping our guests and their families have fun in a safe and clean environment. For more information on our safety procedures, click here.

3) Savor our New Foods

Our culinary team has introduced a number of new menu items this season, and they’ve been wildly popular amongst our guests. Highlights include our new gourmet milkshakes in Coasters, our homemade donuts in Norma’s Funnel Cakes and our Pagoda Nachos.

4) Cool Off with Fury of the Nile and Viking Voyager

It’s still hot, and there’s no better way to beat the heat than a refreshing ride on Fury of the Nile and Viking Voyager. These attractions are open and ready to cool you and your family off! Not to mention, weather forecasts have been looking great!

Riding Viking Voyage is one of the best things to do in Kansas City on a hot day

5) Final Rides of the Season

With the shortened 2020 season, it’s going to be a long off-season until we open again in 2021. This may induce separation anxiety between you and your favorite attractions like Mamba, The Patriot and Detonator. Not to mention all the kid-friendly rides in Planet Snoopy. Did we mention that wait times have been great? This means you get more rides and fewer lines!

All rides should be open with exception of Boomerang, Cyclone Sam’s, Falcon’s Flight, RipCord, Skyliner, SteelHawk and the Worlds of Fun Railroad. Be sure to download the free Worlds of Fun mobile app to check ride availability and wait times during your visit.

We hope to see you at Worlds of Fun for one of the most fun things to do in Kansas City
