Each year, Worlds of Fun awards exceptional ambassadors with scholarships to aid in their pursuit of high education. During the 2020 season, we were honored to present five promising students with a scholarship, based on years of service, performance and financial need in school.

The Worlds of Fun Scholarship Program is just one reason why Forbe's named Worlds of Fun one of the top 25 best places to work in Missouri.

“Winners are identified as those who are most deserving in their academic purists, but we also try to find associates who best represent the park when they are off the clock,”  said Chris Foshee, communications manager at Worlds of Fun.

The recipients this year went above and beyond, showing what it means to be a strong Worlds of Fun employee and overall leader in the workplace.

“This year’s selections fully fit the criteria. We’re very lucky to have these young professionals on our team, and we couldn’t be happier to award them with some additional resources to help them achieve their collegiate degrees. They have a very bright future ahead of them,” Chris said.

While recipients received their award, they met with department managers and Worlds of Fun General Manager, Tony Carovillano.
