2021 Season Calendar at Worlds of Fun & Oceans of Fun
The 2021 Worlds of Fun hours and calendar is now live, and we’re so excited to welcome you back for a season of smiles and safe family fun.
When Does Worlds of Fun Open?
Worlds of Fun will open on Saturday, May 22. Oceans of Fun waterpark will open the following weekend (Memorial Day Weekend) on Saturday, May 29. Enhanced safety procedures will remain in place for both parks, including limited capacity and face coverings. Reopening protocols will be available for each park.
Tickets for the 2021 season are now available, and our website is home to the lowest price for Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun tickets. Daily tickets start as low as $35, and unlimited visits are available with a 2021 Gold Season Pass - now just $89 (or five payments of $14 after initial payment of $19). The FREE Worlds of Fun Pre-K Pass is also a great option as it grants complimentary admission to children ages three to five years old for the entire 2021 season.
As a reminder, all 2020 Season Passes and add-on products have been extended through 2021 to show our sincere commitment and appreciation to our valued Passholders.
What’s New in 2021? Riptide Raceway
Oceans of Fun will open Memorial Day Weekend. That weekend, we will also be debuting our new water slide attraction, Riptide Raceway. It’s the longest mat racing water slide in the world, and provides a thrilling experience for mom, dad, the little kid, the tall kid, the timid kid, the thrill-seeking kid and all the kids-at-heart in between. Riptide Raceway has a minimum height requirement of 42 inches.
2021 Worlds of Fun Special Events
In addition to our 2021 operating calendar, we’ve also announced the return of popular Worlds of Fun special events like Grand Carnivale and Halloween Haunt. We look forward to sharing more information about these exciting events as we move through the year.
Farewell to WinterFest, But More Fun to Come
WinterFest will not be returning this season. It was a difficult business decision, but canceling the event allows us to focus on new park investments and enhancements. We’ll certainly miss seeing our guests enjoying the park covered in lights with all their favorite characters.
New Pass Perk Program
If you’re a current Gold or Platinum Season Passholder, as of March 2, 2021, you’re going to be swimming in benefits this year with our new Worlds of Fun Pass Perks Program. Right off the bat, Passholders will receive a free Bring-A-Friend ticket (a free admission ticket you can share with non-Passholders) and a free snack. More lucky drawings and offers will be announced frequently through the season, so be sure to register/opt-in to receive emails and check your inbox or online Passholder portal/account.
