Meet the Pups Behind Worlds of Fun's Dog Show

Josh Smith

Josh is enjoying his fifth season at Worlds of Fun and his second in the marketing department. He is a senior at Northwest Missouri State pursuing a major in PR. When he's not at the park, he's cheering for Sporting KC!

Muttalica's Bow Wow Luau is in its 11th season at Worlds of Fun. From Frisbee-catching dogs to high-jumping pups, you are sure to be left in awe. The best part is that every dog in the show comes from shelters, rescues or just found on the side of the road.

About the Show

Tom and Mary Clements adopt all of their dogs from shelters and rescue facilities around the world. They own 17 dogs in total at the moment, with 7 of them performing in their show. The dogs that do not perform at the show live at home in their puppy paradise.

This canine agility and comedy show consists of a variety of breeds that will blow you away with their skateboarding, Frisbee catching, weaving, jumping, and even microphone skills. This show is a definite must-see when visiting the park. Bow Wow Luau is sure to leave you amazing while giggling all at the same time. Click here for show times.

Oswald aka Ozzie

Oswald is part cairn terrier, part rat terrier and part Italian greyhound. He was born at Positive Tails Animal Rescue. Tom and Mary got Oswald when he was just 8 weeks old! He made his debut performing this year, and is seen at Bow Wow Luau introducing Bow Wow Luau on the microphone, and follows with impressive skateboarding skills!

Zip (zippidy doo dog)

Zip is an 18-month-old border collie from California. Zip was originally found running down the street of California and was rescued by a nearby shelter. Tom and Mary got Zip from their friend in California. Zip is seen in the show weaving and jumping through an obstacle course at the beginning of each show!

Tango

Tango is a tri-colored border collie from Midwest Animal Rescue. After one of Tango’s original owners passed away, his other owner just did not have the time to take care of him which resulted in him being dropped off at a nearby rescue. Tango developed an autoimmune issue, causing him to lose one eye, impairing the vision in the other. Despite only having limited vision in one eye, Tango can still catch Frisbees like no other.

Be sure to check out the show and meet these amazing pups in person before Bow Wow Luau's season finale on Sunday, August 12. Click here for the full show schedule.
