Kid-Friendly FUN

If you're searching for things to do with the family, look no further. For children 12 and under, there are a variety of rides, attractions, and family friendly accommodations available throughout the park to satisfy the thrills and comforts for your family to have a full day of excitement.   

Wondering if your child is tall enough to enjoy that ride they’ve been eyeing all year or what shows are available while you’re strolling the park, well your answers are at your fingertips as you plan your next day of FUN at Worlds of Fun. A day of little thrills available in our Plant Snoopy area to our bigger thrills like Mustang Runner and Nordic Chaser sounds like the perfect way to start building your day of FUN. OR you can cool off at Oceans of Fun and have a splash in Paradise Falls. You have the option to fill your entire day with endless excitement that is sure to please everyone! Don’t forget to plan for a break to refuel at one of our many food and beverage options like Beach Bites, River City Grill and Sand Dune Diner with many more options to choose from.

Helpful Tips for a Day of FUN!

Ride Height Check

To save time, and manage expectations, Worlds of Fun provides a height-measurement station upon entry. Children will receive a wristband with their height so families will know exactly what their child can and cannot ride before getting in line.

Rider Swap

With the Rider Swap program, one adult can wait with the non-rider (or riders) while the rest of the party enjoys the attraction. When the other adult returns, they can supervise the non-riding guest(s), and the waiting adult can board the attraction without having to wait in the regular line again. Visit Guest Services by the Front Gate to learn more.

Stoller Rentals

Worlds of Fun offers families convenient stroller rentals located inside the park. Single strollers and double strollers are available for rental.

Children who are two years old and younger receive free admission into Worlds of Fun, and a ticket is not required for admission into the park.

Please visit our Rides & Experiences page for additional information. Each ride profile includes the ride's respective ride/thrill rating. 

A meeting place and time should be arranged in case your party becomes separated during your visit. We are unable to page for separated party members throughout the park. If you are separated, please contact Guest Services, located near the Main Entrance. The family reunification point at Worlds of Fun is in Gateway Gardens next to the Grand Carousel.

Yes, family restrooms are available throughout the park and are noted on park maps to help find your way. Look for the designated symbol on the map legend to identify the available family restrooms. 

A guide is available at Guest Services, located near the Main Entrance, for guests with disabilities. The guide is designed to help those with disabilities make the most of their visit and provide information on ride safety, group and individual discounts, and parking options. This information can also be found online on the Accessibility page.

Wheelchair and stroller rentals can be purchased online before your visit or can be purchased the day of your visit* at our Rental Booth, located next to Guest Services at the Main Entrance. Please note, a valid form of identification must be presented to rent an electric wheelchair or stroller. 

Acceptable forms of identification include:

• Driver’s License 

• State I.D. 

• Military I.D. 

• Season Pass 

*Equipment is rented on a first-come, first-serve basis. The best way to secure a wheelchair or stroller rental for your visit is to purchase online in advance.
