General Park Questions

Most rides and attractions remain in operation despite rain. For your safety, certain rides and attractions may be closed due to rain, lightning, high winds, extreme temperatures, maintenance, and other reasons. We re-open closed rides and attractions as soon as possible. We do not issue rain checks or refunds.

In case of severe weather, please feel free to seek shelter at one of our indoor food or retail locations. In case of Tornado Warnings, Worlds of Fun will play informational messages over our public address system. Our team will direct guests and associates to the closest Storm Ready locations.

Yes, Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun are connected inside the park near the Monsoon; however, the parking lots are not connected along the outside of the parks. Your admission ticket includes access to all 235 acres of both Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun

Your ticket includes unlimited use of all rides, shows, and attractions inside Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun for the day of your visit. It does not include extra charge attractions such as RipCord, or various concerts and special events. All prices are plus tax unless noted.

No, do NOT discard your current Season Pass. It is now ACTIVE for the new season. For added convenience, be sure to load your Season Pass (and those of your family) to the Worlds of Fun mobile app.

Yes, all guests entering the park gates must have an admission ticket. Non-riding guests are encouraged to visit our unique shops, relax at Oceans of Fun, or enjoy a variety of mild rides.

Yes, you may pick-up or drop-off any person visiting in the pick-up / drop-off lane at either park. You will not be charged for parking.

Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun are now cashless. Our in-park locations only accept credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

No card? No problem! We have Cash-to-Card kiosks that can transfer cash to a card, without fees, which can be used anywhere, not just at the park. 

Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun are pleased to offer a Military Discount on daily tickets and season passes to military members and their families. Check here for the most up to date promotions.

Many rides at Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun are dynamic and thrilling. There are inherent risks in riding any amusement ride. For your protection, each ride is rated for its special features, such as high speed, steep drops, sharp turns or other dynamic forces. If you choose to ride, you accept all of these risks. Restrictions for guests of extreme size (height or weight) are posted at certain rides. Due to rider restraint system requirements, guests of larger size may not be accommodated on some of our rides. This may apply, but not be limited to, guests who exceed 6’2”, or those who exceed 225 pounds, have a 40” waistline or 52” chest. Each person has different body proportions so it is not possible to list exact size and weight.

Guests with disabilities should refer to our Ride Admission Policy available at Guest Services. Participate responsibly. You should be in good health to ride safely. You know your physical conditions and limitations, Worlds of Fun & Oceans of Fun do not. If you suspect your health could be at risk for any reason, or you could aggravate a preexisting condition of any kind, DO NOT RIDE!

Missouri Statute RSMO 316.230 requires that riders obey all warnings and directions regarding all rides and behave in a manner that will not cause injury to themselves or contribute to the injury of others. Failure to comply may lead to ejection from the park and is a state misdemeanor.
Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun's definition of a supervising companion is one who meets all of the requirements to ride the ride itself, is 14 years of age or older and demonstrates appropriate observed behavior. Supervising Companions are responsible for ensuring that the guest remains seated properly—where applicableand follows all rules and regulations. 

The Guest Assistance Guide provides Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun guests with information regarding ride regulations, guest services, park policies, and special services for guests with disabilities. A hard copy of the Guest Assistance Guide is available at the Guest Services desk located at the Main Entrance of both Parks.

Most rides cannot accommodate loose articles including jewelry, cell phones, hats, cameras, purses, backpacks, basketballs, umbrellas, beverage containers, electronic devices, etc. Items must be safely secured in cargo pockets, a waist pack, in a bin on the ride platform, in a locker, or with a non-rider. Worlds of Fun/Oceans of Fun is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

If you plan to leave and return later that day, ask an Admissions Ambassador for a re-entry voucher at the admissions turnstile. Admission turnstiles are located at the entrance of Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun. Guests will not be allowed to re-enter without a re-entry voucher. Be sure to keep your parking receipt if you take your car from the parking lot so you can re-enter the parking lots without charge. Vehicles left overnight may be towed at owner's expense. During Halloween Haunt nights, re-entry is not available after 8PM. 

Guests are not permitted to bring coolers, food, or drinks into either park. Unopened water bottles or empty reusable water bottles are the only exception to the food and drink policy. Cups of water are available free of charge at any of our food or drink stations.

RipCord

  • RipCord is a SkyCoaster attraction that features a 180-foot tethered free fall. (You must be at least 48 inches tall to fly RipCord)
  • Flights are available on a first-come, first-served basis
  • Gold & Platinum Season Passholders receive 10% off any Ripcord Flight purchase
  • Pricing is dynamic and varies by day. Pricing is subject to change without notice

All items found are turned into Guest Services. If you lose an item on a ride, we will search for the article as soon as it is possible. To keep the ride in operation, an immediate search may not be possible. Please do not attempt to enter any unauthorized areas. 

If you believe you have lost an item, please visit the online lost and found page.

Lost Season Pass cards may be replaced at Guest Services any operating day for a $15 fee. 

First Aid stations are located across from the Timberwolf entrance in Worlds of Fun and adjacent to the Surf City wave pool inside Oceans of Fun. Both stations are staffed by EMTs during park hours. Refrigeration for most medication is available at First Aid. 

Smoking is not permitted inside Worlds of Fun or Oceans of Fun. Designated smoking areas are located outside of metal detection for each park. Thank you for your cooperation. 

Guests arriving at the park will go through metal detection every public operating day. All bags, purses, backpacks, waist packs, etc. are subject to search prior to entering.  Weapons of any kind, including knives and chemical spray are not permitted inside the park.

All drones (Unmanned Aerial Systems) are prohibited at (in) all Cedar Fair parks, including Worlds of Fun, and any unauthorized drone(s) observed over Worlds of Fun will be reported to the FAA and local law enforcement, regardless of its point of origin or operation. Drones may pose a potential safety risk and may violate Federal Aviation Administration guidelines.

No. Online only offers are not available at the gate. Season passes are $10 more per pass at the gate.

Yes. Typically our best pricing is online, including season passes.  Season Passes are usually at least $5 more per pass when purchasing at the gate. 

Track payments, change payment information, or make payments through the payment portal found at worldsoffun.com/payments. You will need your order confirmation number and email address to log in.

For safety reasons, we cannot permit the taking of pictures, videotaping, or filming of any kind on any ride except the Worlds of Fun Railroad. This includes the use of GoPro style equipment, mounts, and harnesses. All cameras and cell phones must be safely secured in cargo pockets, a waist pack, a bin on the ride platform, left in a locker, or with a non-rider. Ride attendants cannot be responsible for items lost, stolen, or damaged while riding or sliding.

"Selfie Sticks" are not permitted on any ride.

Bathing suits and bikinis are appropriate dress only at Oceans of Fun. Shirts and shoes must be always worn, and swimwear sufficiently covered while at Worlds of Fun.

Clothing with zippers, rivets, buckles, etc. is not appropriate swimwear at Oceans of Fun. Waterproof diaper covers are required at Oceans of Fun. Towels are not provided, although may be purchased at Oceans of Fun.  

We are strict and thorough in the steps we take and the processes we use to keep our properties safe and promote a healthy environment. To protect our guests and associates and prevent the spread of illness, we employ rigorous sanitation standards and robust cleaning procedures, including:

  • Extensive training for associates on maintaining a safe and hygienic workplace and environment for our guests;
  • Appropriate personal protective clothing and gear for associates who are assigned for cleaning duties;
  • Specified intervals for frequent cleaning and disinfection of targeted areas throughout the day;
  • Procedures for cleaning and disinfection of areas throughout the day and where illness has been suspected or reported;
  • Quick response to spills, trash and other situations;
  • Daily sanitation procedures, for everything from bathroom faucets and sinks to kitchen and dining surfaces, benches and trash cans;
  • Daily cleaning and “wash down” of outdoors locations, including walkways and queue lines;
  • Guest and associate first aid locations to assist with minor health issues.

We maintain close relationships with local, state, national, and international public health authorities, and take their guidance when additional preventive measures are needed.

Single Meal Deal 
Enjoy an entree, side and a regular fountain drink. 

All Day Dining 
Guests with All Day Dining will receive a wristband at any of the participating locations and enjoy an entree and side as often as every 90 minutes!  Drinks are not included. However, you may purchase a Souvenir Bottle or Drink Wristband online at the best price. 

Premium All Day Dining 
Guests with Premium All Day Dining will receive a wristband valid for a select entrée & side, or snack, as often as every 90 minutes at participating locations, and FREE refills on refreshing Coca-Cola beverages every 15 minutes all day long. 

All Season Dining 
When you purchase an All Season Dining Plan, it will automatically be uploaded to your season pass. Simply present your pass at any participating locations throughout the park and enjoy lunch and dinner (with only a 4 hour interval between meals) every time you visit. Drinks are not included. However, you may purchase an All Season Souvenir Bottle or Season Pass Drink Plan online for free refills all season long. 

Single Meal Deal 
Simply redeem your voucher at any participating locations for an entree, side, and a regular fountain drink.  

All Day Dining Plan 
Guests with All Day Dining will receive a wristband at any of the participating locations and enjoy an entree and side as often as every 90 minutes!  Drinks are not included. However, you may purchase a Souvenir Bottle or drink wristband online at our best price for unlimited refills all day long! 

Premium All Day Dining 
Guests with a Premium All Day Dining voucher will receive a wristband at any of the participating locations. Enjoy an entree & side, or a snack, as often as every 90 minutes throughout the day, and free drink refills as often as every 15 minutes.   

All Season Dining 
Guests with All Season Dining will automatically have it included on their Season Pass. Simply present your season pass at any of the participating locations throughout the park and enjoy. Enjoy 2 meals every time you visit! Only a 4 hour interval between meals. Drinks are not included, but you can purchase an All Season Souvenir Bottle or Season Pass Drink Plan to enjoy free refills all season long.

In addition, an All Season Souvenir Bottle or Drink Plan is available online or at the park and includes unlimited refills all season long. The choice is yours!

Yes, an All Season Dining Plan can be added to all Season Pass types, except Knott's Scary Farm passes. There is a difference in price between All Season Dining programs for Gold and Platinum passes. 

An All Season Dining Plan added to a Season Pass is only valid for redemption exclusively by the registered passholder. Once Dining Plan is linked to a Season Pass, it is non-transferable. In order for benefits to be redeemed, the Season Pass must be used for admission on the same date. 

As a Platinum Passholder, the All Season Dining Plan is valid at any Cedar Fair park within the U.S. and Canada. Simply present your Platinum Pass at any participating food locations during your park visit to enjoy lunch and dinner (with only a 4 hour interval time between meals). 

The All Season Souvenir Bottle and Season Pass Drink Plan are two separate programs. You will not be able to use your Season Pass card if you forget your bottle.

If you prefer the All Season Souvenir Bottle, visit Guest Services during your first visit after purchase and receive your souvenir bottle. Exchange fee may apply. 

You can purchase an All Season Souvenir Bottle or the Season Pass Drink Plan online or at the park. 

Visit Guest Services at the park, and for a $2.99 exchange fee, you can be switched over to the bottle free program. The barcode on your bottle will be deactivated, and you can start to use your Season Pass immediately for your refills. 

You may refill as often as you like with a time window of 15 minutes between refills.

If you lose your Season Pass, Guest Services can help you replace your Season Pass card for $15 and activate the Season Pass Drink Plan on your new pass. 

If you forget your Season Pass, please stop at any ticket window located at the Front Gate. With proper identification a temporary pass will be issued to you. The temporary pass is only valid for that day and will have the Season Pass Drink Plan attached. Only two temporary passes are allowed per Season Pass per year.

The Season Pass Drink Plan can be added to all Season Pass types, except Knott's Scary Farm passes.

You can use these on any public operating day, and the programs are valid for the regular season, as well as Halloween events and WinterFest (where offered).

As a Platinum Passholder, the All Season Souvenir Bottle and Drink Plan are valid at any Cedar Fair park within the U.S. and Canada. Simply present your Platinum Pass at any participating food locations during your park visit to enjoy free refills with your Souvenir Bottle or Drink Plan (with only a 15 minute interval between refills).

 

Pre-K Pass

Worlds of Fun offers kids ages 3 - 5 years old a free Pre-K Pass. The Pre-K Pass grants complimentary admission to Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun for the 2022 season. There are two steps to getting a Pre-K Pass. First, register your pre-k online. Go to worldsoffun.com, select Season Passes and then select Pre-K Pass. Follow directions and submit. Second, activate your Pre-K Pass by bringing the e-ticket to the tickets windows along with your child and a valid form of identification that proves the child’s date of birth. Examples of valid identification are a birth certificate or travel passport. These can be originals or copies.

The Worlds of Fun Pre-K Pass is available for kids who are between the ages of 3 - 5 at the time of activation.

You must register for the pass online and activate at the Worlds of Fun front gate any public operating day through Sept. 5, 2022.

As long as your child is 5 years of age on the date you activate the pass, you are eligible.

The pass is valid through the 2022 public operating season and is only valid at Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun.

Not all Cedar Fair parks have a Pre-K Pass. For a free Pre-K Pass you must register online and activate for the park specific Pre-K Pass at each park. One pass will not work for all Cedar Fair parks.

Go to worldsoffun.com, select Season Passes and then select Pre-K Pass. Follow directions and submit. Print the e-ticket and bring it to the front gate along with your child and a valid form of identification that proves the child’s date of birth. Examples of valid identification are a birth certificate or travel passport. These can be originals or copies.

The offer is NOT available at the Worlds of Fun front gate. You must register online at worldsoffun.com by Sept. 5, 2022 before you get to the park. You will receive the Pre-K pass at the front gate pass processing center once proper identification is shown proving your child’s date of birth and your child’s picture is taken. Examples of valid identification are a birth certificate or travel passport. These can be originals or copies.

No. The Pre-K Pass does not include free parking.

Yes. Once the Pre-K Pass has been activated, you can add on All Season Dining, Season Pass Drink Plan and/or All Season FunPix.

The best admission to buy along with your child's FREE Pre-K Pass is a Gold Season Pass. Gold Passes include great benefits like free parking, unlimited visits to Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun, park discounts and more!

 

Season Pass Locker Rentals

Lockers are assigned randomly on a first come, first serve basis by the kiosk, so you will have a different locker each time you redeem your rental.

While sellouts are rare, they occasionally occur on high volume dates.  The program does not guarantee that a Standard locker will be available for you at all times of day in your preferred locker location.  If you are visiting on a busy day, please plan to arrive early and redeem your rental soon after you arrive.

When you scan your season pass at the locker kiosk, you will create a 4-digit PIN that will open your locker.  Do not share your PIN with anyone outside your party. You will be asked to create a PIN each time you redeem your rental.

Unfortunately, there are no Platinum options for this program. The Season Locker Rentals will only be available at Worlds of Fun & Oceans of Fun at this time.

Your All Season Rental is only good once per day, so you will not be able to move your rental after you redeem for the day.

Due to limited capacity, discounts are not available on Large and Jumbo lockers.

If you plan to visit Worlds of Fun after Oceans of Fun closes and you want to access your locker, consider beginning your visit at Worlds of Fun. All Oceans of Fun lockers must be emptied by Oceans of Fun closing each day. If you choose to redeem an Oceans of Fun locker, you may not redeem a Worlds of Fun locker on the same day. 

Please empty your locker prior to leaving the park. All lockers reset overnight and will be issued to a different guest the following operating day.

 

FunPix

Purchase a FunPix plan online, at the front gate, or at any FunPix location. Upon your visit to the park visit Rentals at the Worlds of Fun Front Gate or Trader Nicks at the Oceans of Fun Front Gate to create your account. 

At FunPix locations show your FunPix wristband after the ride. All FunPix digital photos taken throughout the day (with a Single Day Digital Pass) or season (with an All Season Digital Pass) can be found within the Worlds of Fun mobile app. Download as many digital photos as you would like from the app or our FunPix website.

Order prints the same day in the park and receive a great price.

After you purchase FunPix online you will receive a receipt email to use as a voucher. To redeem:

1. Print the receipt and bring it with you on the day of your visit to the park.
2. Present the receipt at any FunPix location to get your FunPix card and create your account.
3. That's all there is to it! Remember to have your card scanned any time your picture is taken at a FunPix Location to add that picture to your account!

Season Passholders, your FunPix voucher is tied to your season pass, just present your pass at a FunPix location and let them know you have FunPix!

No problem! Just come to a FunPix location, give us your email address and we’ll issue you a new wristband and link your existing FunPix photos to it.  

It’s OK! As long as you have the purchase receipt on your mobile device, we can access the information we need from there. Or, visit Guest Services.

For Single Day Pass holders, FunPix photos will be available for 30 days. For All Season Pass holders, FunPix photos will be available until the end of the season.

Your digital photos can be added to your FunPix account with the purchase of any regular price Santa Photo item. FunPix discounts do not apply to Santa Photo.
