Top Spots for Enjoying Those Summer Nights

Madalyn Mosbauer

Madalyn is attending Northwest Missouri State pursuing a major in Broadcast Production. When she's not in the park capturing video or finding stories to tell, she's poorly playing video games and making her friends laugh.

Worlds of Fun has plenty of fun things to offer from dawn until dusk. While there are countless things to enjoy throughout the day, there are plenty of things to experience once the sun sets.  I put together some of my favorite things to enjoy when spending the night out on the town at Worlds of Fun.

Where’s the Party?

Who doesn’t love FREE entertainment? Where’s The Party? features a dynamic cast and an awesome band that bring their spunky personalities to the stage 3 times a night every Thursday-Monday. Make sure you stop by the International Plaza at either 7, 8, or 9 p.m. to catch their show. Warning though, you may get some amazing songs stuck in your head.

Floral Clock

Grab an Auntie Ann’s pretzel and relax in Africa after a long day of riding rides and slides. With the amazing view of our new exclusive Floral Clock you will want to stay awhile to enjoy your view. Featuring a wide variety of flowers to look at and a collection of lights that lite up the scenery, our Floral Clock is one to stop at and enjoy. If you have a camera close by, make sure you take a selfie and tag us on social media with #AmazingLooksLike!

RipCord

Seeking an intense, unique thrill? Look no further. The RipCord enhances your experience with a 189-foot free fall into the night. This hang-gliding sensation attraction will leap you into the darkness for a once in a lifetime experience. If you think you have what it takes, make sure you grab your friends a try it out! (not included with admission)

Prowler

Pitch black, wicked turns, aggressive speed and drastic drops. What more could you ask for? Riding the Prowler is always fun and enjoyable but once you ride it at night, nothing could top it. The lift provides a gorgeous, indescribable view of the lights in the park you will not forget. Once at the top the lights go out and you’re hurtling through the jungle at an uncontrollable speed seeking adventure.

Steel Hawk

What’s better than getting to enjoy a night out on the town with a killer view of the town? The Steel Hawk is definitely one to put on the list. Once the sun sets, the ride gives an amazing panoramic view of the park and Kansas City while being hundreds of feet in the air.

Ticket Specials

Discounted "After 4PM Admission" is available only at worldsoffun.com. Save off front gate pricing and enjoy a summer night under the stars of the skies and the surrounded by the lights of the park.
