Worlds of Fun's 2019 Summer Live Entertainment has begun and an action-packed season awaits! The park features a total of seven live shows that are sure to keep audiences of all ages moving and grooving all summer long!

A new show just 'launched' in Planet Snoopy. Space Beagle takes guests of all ages on an out-of-this-world journey with catchy songs and classic humor on the stage of Peanuts Showplace. While the show is sure to capture your imagination, it also has a fascinating connection to America's history in space exploration.

The PEANUTS and NASA

Long, long ago, in a galaxy known as the '60s, the relationship between NASA and Charles Schulz's PEANUTS comic strip was born. In an effort to grow support and attention for Apollo 10's journey to the moon, the two joined forces to bring two beloved faces to the mission: Charlie Brown and Snoopy.

Space Beagle

In 1969, Snoopy became the first beagle to land on the moon. In actuality, the Apollo 10 mission became known as the "rehearsal" for the successful Apollo 11 moon landing. This year marks the 50-year anniversary of the mission.

Snoopy in Space

The collaboration between NASA and PEANUTS still lives on today through STEM-based educational programs, and Schulz's beloved characters continue to be the face of NASA's safety and human space flight awareness program.

Snoopy and Nasa

The two have also teamed up with Apple TV to present a 10-minute feature that includes a light-hearted look at Apollo 10 from the imagination of documentarian Morgan Neville and starring Jeff Goldblum and Ron Howard, playing themselves. The short feature, Peanuts in Space: Secrets of Apollo 10, is now available on the Apple TV app.

What better way to celebrate summer fun AND the incredible feat of space flight, than coming to see Space Beagle during your visit to Worlds of Fun.

Space Beagle

The show creates a whimsical and illustrative depiction of Snoopy and space flight, as the fun-loving pup and his pals are ready to blast off for all to see!  People of all ages will feel their spirits soar into the atmosphere as the PEANUTS Gang entertains audiences with catchy songs and cosmic fun!

When can you see the show?
