Summer has come and gone, now it’s time for Worlds of Fun to transform into the Midwest’s most terrifying Halloween attraction: Halloween HAUNT. Over 400 monsters, six scare zones and five mazes await you and your fiends…excuse me, friends.
Before you enter this seasonal scare fest, use these insider tips and take full advantage of what awaits you in the mist and fog this year…
What’s new for ‘22
Haunt will feature many new elements this year. Be sure to hit our new scare zones and outdoor mazes. New for 2022: Malice in Wonderland, Fear Ground and Haunted Homecoming.
Visit on off days
Haunt is the top Halloween attraction in Kansas City every year, so it’s going to be busy. However, planning your visit on a Thursday evening gives guests a chance to enjoy all Haunt has to offer while not navigating the crowds on Friday and Saturday nights.
Fright Lane and Fast Lane are combined and unlimited
Two separate passes are no longer required to skip lines at Haunt attractions. Fright Lane and Fast Lane are now one in the same and are completely unlimited during Haunt.
Attractions begin at 6:30
Don’t want to wait in line for Lore of the Vampire? Itching to go mad in Malice in Wonderland? Just enter the park earlier. Even though the real mayhem starts at 7 p.m. with Overlord’s Awakening, our scare zones and mazes open 30 minutes earlier.
‘No boo’ passes are available for children and those with sensory conditions
To ensure everyone enjoys HAUNT, “no boo” passes are available for those who are easily startled or have a sensory condition. Our monsters won’t bother you when they see these special necklaces.
Take a night ride on your favorite coaster
Longtime WoF guests know that when the sun goes down, the thrill level goes up. View the lit-up KC skyline from Mamba, twist and turn through the foggy darkness on Patriot, dash through a moonlit forest on Prowler.
Get a “Blood Bag” (21 and over)
Enjoy yourself with Haunt’s signature cocktail, the Blood Bag. Our spooky sangria has been a huge hit with adult guests in seasons past. We’ve added new flavors this year too. Non-alcoholic blood bags are also available for those not of age. Check your favorite beverage stall for availability.
