What To Expect During 50 Nights of Fire

Worlds of Fun continues to celebrate its 50th Anniversary as its grand 50 Nights of Fire nighttime spectacular begins Saturday, June 24. The signature celebration features a 15-minute-long fireworks and drone show to celebrate the park’s golden anniversary.

The end-of-the-day show highlights major moments, attractions and rides in the park’s long history by using stirring pyrotechnics, state-of-the-art drone technology, a stirring soundtrack and the greatest memories of the park.

The show features 100-plus drones, Peanuts characters, hundreds of pyrotechnics and an original 50th Anniversary narration and soundtrack. The special celebration will begin Saturday, June 24 and run nightly at 10 p.m. until August 12.

The park will also host a rededication ceremony at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 23 at Front Street in Americana.

Residents in the Northland may have already noticed fireworks and drones in the area, as rehearsals for this event began on Wednesday evening.

50 Nights of Fire is a once in a lifetime exhibition that celebrates our history and love for Kansas City and the regions beyond. Here's to the next 50!
