2025 Season Casting Tour

Join the talented entertainers and technicians at Worlds of Fun in 2025! A job with Entertainment at Worlds of Fun gives entertainers and technicians a stage to let their talents shine. With an amazing season of events and live shows approaching in 2025, we’re currently holding a casting call for the following:

• Singers who move well
• Dancers
• Actors
• Costume Characters
• Show Dressers

• Stage Technicians and Specialists

SINGERS WHO MOVE WELL

We are looking for strong performers with great voices who can pick up on stage movement. Please prepare two songs in a Pop, Rock, or Broadway style. Consider two pieces in a contrasting style. Piano accompaniment will be provided.

Pre‑recorded accompaniment is also acceptable, please bring a separate file on an Apple or Android device. You may also be asked to stay and learn a short dance/movement combination. (Wear appropriate dance attire or bring clothes to change into.)

DANCERS

Looking for experienced energetic and enthusiastic performers. You will be taught a short dance combination. Please wear appropriate dance attire.

PEANUTS COSTUME CHARACTER TALENT

Our loveable Costume Characters appear daily in Planet Snoopy and in Special Events and Shows throughout the Early Summer. Eligibility is 4’ 5” to 5’ 3” in height. ACTORS

We are looking for talented and energetic actors to enhance the guest experience throughout Worlds of Fun. Please prepare a 1-minute comedic monologue, appropriate for a family theme park atmosphere. Improv skills are a plus! You may be asked to submit a script reading callback for consideration. 

TECHNICIANS, SHOW DRESSERS, AND MAKEUP ARTISTS

All auditions will be held onsite at Worlds of Fun in the Tivoli Music Hall. Please enter via the Business Entrance and Park in Lot H, then follow the signs to the Tivoli Music Hall.

Singers and Actors

· Registration begins at 12:00pm

All applicants must be at least 16 years of age to audition. Those 14/15 years of age can be considered for height-dependent Costume Character Talent only. All applicants should bring a current resume, headshot, and list of availability from May 1 – October 31, 2025.

Virtual Audition Submission Information

If you cannot audition in person, you may submit a headshot, resume, and video link to auditions@worldsoffun.com. To be considered for summer casting all materials must be received by March 2, 2025.

Singing Audition Virtual Requirements

In a brief video, please prepare two songs in a Pop, Rock, or Broadway style. Consider two pieces in a contrasting style. No a cappella, classical, or original compositions. Selections should showcase a warm belt, vocal range, and accurately match the vocal style of each genre.

Dancing Audition Virtual Requirements

Demonstrate your strongest style of dance (musical theatre, folk, jazz, etc). You may be asked to submit another combination as a callback for consideration. In addition to the combinations, please execute any other floor movements that you do as well (turns, jumps, leaps, specialty moves).

Acting Audition Virtual Requirements

Prepare a 60 second, comedic monologue appropriate for a family atmosphere. Please also include any improvisational experience in your resume and video submission. Please make sure to show your personality, and ability to interact with a crowd. If you have any additional performance skills please include that in your video as well.
