Your Guide to Grand Carnivale 2023 at Worlds of Fun!

It’s almost time for a celebration like no other, Grand Carnivale! Starting Saturday, July 22nd through Sunday, August 6th. Watch how the world kicks up its heels during our international celebration, featuring countries from across the world including China, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain! The celebration will be filled with live entertainment, amazing food, festive decor, fun activities, games and more that the entire family will enjoy.

There is so much to see and do at Grand Carnivale so we wanted to give you a guide to help you plan for your visit! 

Tastes and Sips of Carnivale

It wouldn’t be a celebration without delicious food and Grand Carnivale will certainly have something for every foodie! Each country represented at Grand Carnivale will feature three different tastings- that’s 15 tastings in all for you to try! Make sure you check out the Grand Carnivale menu to see all the different options to choose from and if you want to try multiple tastings and save at the same time, purchase one of our Grand Carnivale Tasting Cards.

Guests will have the option of purchasing a Tasting Card for either 6 or 10 tastings. The 6 Tasting Card is only $39.99 + tax and the 10 Tasting Card is $59.99 + tax and both can be used during multiple visits! If you purchase 10 tastes, you could save up to $35! You can also purchase single tastings separately at the food tents.

AND we can’t talk about the food without talking about the drinks! Grand Carnivale will feature seven signature drinks including two signature mocktails and five cocktails. Guests of all ages can try the Very Berry Party Punch, a refreshing blend of summer wild berries and Minute Maid® lemonade topped off with Sprite® and garnished with fresh strawberries and raspberries.

Please Note: Signature drinks and beverages are sold separately and cannot be purchased with a Tasting Card. Meal plans are not valid for Carnivale tastings.

Live Entertainment

From 5 PM to park close, there will be non-stop entertainment at the Carnivale Main Stage in International Plaza! The entertainment will begin with the Opening Procession at 5 PM and will continue throughout the evening with shows including Grand Showcase, Royal Dance Party, RetroSpect, The Spectacle of Color Parade and The Royal Send Off. The Spectacle of Color Parade will kick off at Planet Snoopy and can be seen throughout Americana, Front Street, East Asia, and International Plaza. Fun Activities

Kids of all ages will love the activities of Carnivale! Some of the fun activities include:

  • Carnivale Crafts: Create your own Carnivale accessories in this free activity for all ages!
  • Mardi’s Game Gallery: Try your luck at our Grand Carnivale games and step right up to the challenge with your friends!
  • Mardi’s International QR Invitational: In our international scavenger hunt, you’ll travel to each country, meet new friends and snap QR codes that reveal fun facts and clues. 

We hope you make Grand Carnivale a part of your summer memories! Grand Carnivale will take place every afternoon from Saturday, July 22nd through Sunday, August 6th and will begin at 5 PM on event days.

Grand Carnivale is going to be spectacular and what will make it even better is that there are many ways to experience Grand Carnivale and save! Guests can save over 40% with the Grand Carnivale Package which covers admission, parking and three food tastings from the Grand Carnivale food tasting menu. Passholders can receive up to 6 discounted admission tickets for their friends with our Bring-A-Friend Ticket.
