Your Guide to KidZfest at Worlds of Fun

Endless smiles and giggles are in store at this year's NEW KidZfest event at Worlds of Fun, the ultimate event for family-friendly summer fun! The festival starts this weekend and runs every Saturday and Sunday, through June 16.

Get ready for the dance parties, crazy food items like spaghetti and meatballs in a cone and rainbow bread grilled cheese, kid-friendly rides all over the park, as well as interactive games and activities in Gateway Gardens.

Here's what's in store for fun-seeking families at this year's KidZfest:

Marvelous Mutts

A remarkable canine spectacular, this captivating dog sport show features world class canine athletes with amazing adoption stories. Each dog is a rescue with a heartwarming story and even more incredible acrobatic ability.

Mr. Stinky Feet

KC's favorite, Jim Cosgrove has been grooving and delivering his hilarious show to kids all over the Midwest for decades. His goofy comedy and fun song catalog provide the soundtrack to the show where the kids are the stars! (*appearing select dates)

DJ Z's Ultimate Dance Party

DJ Z is bringing an out-of-this-world party to KidZfest! Keep the hits playing as you play street games and keep the energy high all day long.

Peanuts Block Party

Join the Peanuts Gang with a cast of dancers for a rockin', boppin' party in the park! Have your camera ready and put on your dancing shoes to join the fun for this exclusive show during KidZfest.

KidZfest Food 

  • KidZfest Cotton Candy: A kid-sized bundle of cotton candy.
  • Mini Corn Dogs: Crispy, bit-sized corn dogs fried to perfection. Served with a side of cheese sauce.
  • Mini Funnel Cake Flight: What's better than one funnel cake flavor? THREE! Try Cookies 'n Cream, Strawberry and Regular!
  • Rainbow Grilled Cheese: A colorful twist on the classic.

  • Spaghetti and Meatball Waffle Cone: A handheld take on spaghetti and meatballs. This savory dish is served in a waffle cone, sprinkled with savory flavors and our signature spaghetti sauce.

Secure your spot at Worlds of Fun all summer long by purchasing a KidZpass. All children ages 3-8 and seniors over the age of 62 are eligible for this $24.99 (plus taxes and fees) season pass that includes admission to Worlds of Fun, Oceans of Fun, and Planet Snoopy through Labor Day.
