A Look Into What's New for Worlds of Fun's 2024 Season

During the off season, our teams have been working tirelessly to conceptualize, design, and implement exciting new themed locations and events for the upcoming season. Park guests will be in for quite a treat when they arrive on May 4th to discover two all-new food locations, a new merch location, and a beautifully themed patio as well as two new events. Here is a sneak peak on what to expect!

River City Grill

There’s nothing like home cookin’. Tasty recipes for the whole family are available for all to enjoy at River City Grill. Hearty barbeque, tasty chicken tenders, homestyle sides, ice-cold Coca-Cola beverages and so much more wait for you in Americana’s flagship dining location. Don’t forget the Ooey-Gooey Butter Cake!

Settle in on the plentiful patio seating, enjoy table games, and relax in the heart of Americana in the shadow of Steelhawk and Patriot. River City Grill pays homage to the mighty steamships and riverboats that transported people and goods up and down the Missouri River in the 1800s as America’s westward expansion began. Enter as guests, leave as friends!

Dragon’s Delights

Mysterious flavors and daring treats await travelers at Dragon’s Delights in East Asia. Sip on delicious Boba Tea, enjoy flavored limeades, and take on the Worlds Largest Fortune Cookie as you embark upon your journey into Worlds of Fun.

Europa Biergarten

Ice-cold adult refreshment awaits in Europa. Across from Autobahn, you will find refreshing KC Bier Co. beers to enjoy in the relaxing surroundings. Enjoy the genteel surroundings of Europa as you sip your favorite local KC brews.

Boone’s General Store

Dry goods and supplies for westward travelers! Quality items at a fair price! Come on in and meet the friendly shopkeepers at Boone’s General Store in the Wild West. Youngsters can pan for gold, while the grown folks shop and browse exclusive Wild West Worlds of Fun merchandise.

This friendly mercantile can be found in the Wild West section of the park next to Gold Rush Pizza and Union Depot.

KC Nights

KC Nights at Worlds of Fun is the ultimate Kansas City-summer party that keeps the excitement high as the sun goes down.

Immerse yourself in a summer celebration filled with the adrenaline rush of twilight rides on our exhilarating coasters. Savor the flavors of Kansas City food along with refreshing beverages, and let the live entertainment captivate you.

KC Nights at Worlds of Fun isn't just a night party; it's a destination. Kansas City's hottest summertime event awaits, a celebration of summer fun and KC culture.

KidZfest

Saturdays & Sundays, June 1 - 16, 2024

Experience the joy of endless smiles and giggles at KidZfest, the ultimate event for family-friendly summer fun!

Join in on the exciting dance parties, feast on delicious treats, enjoy our kid-friendly rides, and check out our interactive games and activities. With live entertainment like the thrilling Marvelous Mutts dog show, that captivates both young hearts and the young at heart, KidZfest promises a day full of laughter and fun.

And don't forget to grab your kiddos our all new KidZPass so they don't miss a day of fun! Unlimited visits & free parking through Labor Day for kids ages 3 - 8! Visit for a few hours...or the whole day...any day during the season!
