Great Pumpkin Fest Attractions
Franklin's Cool Coloring
Creativity will fly with Halloween-themed coloring pages. Let the PEANUTS gang and Halloween be drawn together in a colorful explosion of festive fun, where budding artists can use their imagination and a freshly sharpened crayon. Plus, use the back of the page to draft your letter to The Great Pumpkin himself!
Weave your way through a twisting path of hay bales and cornstalks. Dodge the series of dead ends and make your way to the ‘most sincere’ Pumpkin Patch where Linus hopes to meet his holiday harvest idol. Kids ages 12 and under can choose their own mini-gourd to take home as a spooktacular keepsake! (limit one pumpkin per guest under 12 years of age)
Count Snooptacula's Costume Contest
Smaller ghouls and goblins are invited to show off their costume creations in Planet Snoopy. Whether following the wisdom of Lucy van Pelt and choosing a costume to “contrast her own personality” like a witch, or dressing like a high-flying military hero complete with red scarf, kids ages 11 and younger are invited to join the fun. Stop in at Planet Snoopy Saturdays and Sundays by 3pm - contest eligible for ages 11 and younger.
Pig Pen's Creepy Crafts
Display your creative best with Halloween themed crafts, sure to bring out the artist in every kid. And no worries, there won’t be any scissor mishaps like Charlie Brown’s bedsheet-ghost costume with more eyeholes than needed. Showcase your artistic flair and have a souvenir to take home!
Tricks & Treats with the PEANUTS Gang
The PEANUTS gang have picked some of their favorite tricks and treats to share! Kids can wear their costumes and trick-or-treat inside Planet Snoopy on Saturdays and Sundays. You never know who will be nearby to join the daytime fun, no rocks allowed.
It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown
The Halloween favorite “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” will bring back memories for everyone. Watch as Linus works to convince his friends of the Great Pumpkin’s annual appearance, only to be disappointed again. Plus, learn some valuable lessons like “Never jump into a pile of leaves with a wet sucker” and that Lucy will never let Charlie kick the football.
Location: Moulin Rouge Theater
From the hallowed halls of Meat Cleaver High, it’s “Haunted Homecoming.” A cast of teenage dead-heads are stuck in the 60’s performing a retro rock review just for you and your ghoul friends.
Showing Sundays Sep. 16 - Oct. 29 at 3PM, 4PM & 5PM
Peppermint Patty's Tall Tales
While the legend of The Great Pumpkin is still up for debate, let Peppermint Patty delight pint-sized audience members with stories of the fantastic and magical. Imaginations will run wild as tales of Halloweens’ past are shared, with just a hint of exaggeration – a specialty of this sporty PEANUTS gal.
Location: International Plaza
Located at the entrance to Worlds of Fun, the Skeleton Crew has risen from the crypt to amaze and delight with electrifying acrobatic performances at the International Plaza stage. See displays of high-flying energy blending acrobatic and cirque-style routines. There’s no bones about it, you won’t want to miss out on this ghoulishly good-time!
Showing Sundays Sept. 16 – Oct. 29 at 4PM, 5PM & 6PM
Sally’s Dance Spooktacular
Sally Brown loves Halloween; the costumes, carving pumpkins, the ‘tricks or treats’, and the chance to be silly! Come wiggle and dance along to spooky tunes with the PEANUTS gang and show off your best moves. Mini monsters and ghouls can shake a tail feather like Woodstock or do the classic foot-flap, head-bop like that beloved beagle, Snoopy.
