All You Need to Know for BBQ & Boom!

Worlds of Fun celebrates America bigger than ever before with an all new Fourth of July event on July 3rd and 4th, BBQ and Boom! As you can guess from the title, this includes delicious Worlds of Fun barbecue, jaw-dropping fireworks, and other fun activities for the whole family to enjoy. Here is all you need to know about the new BBQ and Boom Fourth of July event:

 

1) Ticket Special

For a low price of $49.99 plus tax per person, you can receive park admission, free parking and a single free meal at the BBQ and Boom event including your choice of entrée, side and beverage. Click here to purchase

2) Fireworks

What would a Fourth of July celebration be without fireworks? Worlds of Fun puts on an amazing fireworks show that is synced to music! Join us as we illuminate the skies above Kansas City each night starting at 10 p.m. 

ProTip: This show is best experienced from inside the park near the SteelHawk.

3) Barbecue

There’s no doubt about it; Chef Wesley brought a whole new meaning to amazing food at Worlds of Fun this year. This year, we are featuring some of this barbecue with our family meal platter options at BBQ and Boom! Choose between rotisserie chicken or pulled pork sandwiches paired with juicy watermelon, delicious coleslaw and creamy corn on the cob. Platters available for FOUR and EIGHT people.

 

4) Beer

Did you know Worlds of Fun now features a variety of BOULEVARD BEER? Yes, we are just as excited as you are. There is nothing better to pair with your delicious barbecue than a locally brewed Boulevard beer (Must be 21 years or older to consume alcohol. Please celebrate responsibly).

 

5) Entertainment

Live music, performances, lawn games… We’ve got it covered! If you want to take a break from coasters and slides, we’ve got all you need to keep the whole family entertained. With games such as corn hole, giant tic-tac-toe, giant connect four and a game we call “grill toss,” you are sure to have a great time while enjoying amazing live music and dancers.

 

6) Military Days

To thank those who have served and are currently serving our country, Worlds of Fun offers 4 military days throughout the season; Memorial Day, Labor Day, Armed Forces Day and the Fourth of July. All active and retired military personnel with valid military ID will receive FREE admission, with discounted rates for their families.
