New 2018 Worlds of Fun Mobile App Features!

Josh Smith

Josh is enjoying his sixth season at Worlds of Fun and his third in the marketing department. He is a recent Northwest Missouri State alum. When he isn't at the park he is cheering on his favorite soccer team, Sporting Kansas City.

Worlds of Fun has added some great guest enhancements to the park in 2018, including the new Worlds of Fun mobile app - loaded with all the bells and whistles to help you make the most of your visit at the park! Download it for FREE and unlock these great features.

1) Upload Your Season Passes

Go digital, and load your Season Pass into the app. You'll have immediate access, and you don't have to worry about losing your card. When you arrive, just pull up your Season Pass on the app, and we'll scan it. Plus, there’s a counter of how many times you’ve visited. Try to get a higher score than your friends ;)

Check out how easy it is to load your Gold Pass into the app in the video below.

2) Park Map

Our park maps are cool, but you no longer need them to navigate your way through the park. With the new map feature, you can find information and the quickest directions to every ride, slide, shop, show and restaurant in both Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun. This will include up-to-date show times so you won't miss any of our amazing performances. Once you know where you want to go, our app will give you way-finding directions to your desired location.

3) Ride Wait Times

Make the most of your time in the park with easy access to ride wait times. If used strategically, this is a great tool to maximize your ride time and reduce your wait time. But you must be in the park to access these times.

"Five-minute wait to ride Mamba!?! Let's goooooo!"

You also have access to showtimes!

4) Car Finder

After spending hours inside of the park, it can be easy to forget where you parked. That is why our new app features a car finder so you have one less thing to worry about. Just do not forget to pull up the “mark your parking spot” option under the “Me” tab!

5) Purchases

Load up with all of the extras directly through the new mobile app. From Fast Lane passes to Cabanas in Oceans of Fun, you can add onto your amazing experience at Worlds of Fun with the best deals available directly in the app.

6) Special Offers & Discounts

Last but definitely not least, the new mobile app gives you access to special discounts during your visit. These offers are sent as messages to the app throughout the day, and provide exclusive savings on food, merchandise and more. Be sure to enable push notifications after you’ve downloaded the app, or regularly check your messages (tap the bell in the top right corner of the home screen). Current offers you could get during your visit include BOGO discounts on Pretzels, Cotton Candy, ICEE and Funnel Cakes.

Before your next trip, be sure to download the new mobile app to enhance your amazing experience in the park! Click here to download on iOS. Click here to download on Andriod.
