Autism Society 5k

Take your mark. Get set. Go register for the Autism Society of the Heartland’s 3rd Annual 5K/1K Fun Run at Worlds of Fun on Saturday, May 2, 2020. All proceeds will benefit the lives of all affected by autism in Missouri and Kansas. Click here to register.

Runners will take their mark for an 8:00 a.m. start as they proceed through and around Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun. The Kansas City 5K’s official race course will give participants exclusive access and viewpoints of the park and their favorite attractions.

All registered participants will receive a t-shirt, finisher’s medal and be chip timed. All registered 1k participants will receive a t-shirt.  The start/finish line will also host a resource fair for families touched by Autism. More Race Day Details

The 5K course will have long stretches of gravel, and the use of a stroller is not advised. The 1K course is completely paved and stroller friendly. Worlds of Fun will officially open on the day of this charity 5K event (May 2, 2020) at 10:30 a.m. Registration for the Autism Society 5K will include parking on the day of the event. Onsite registration is available prior to the start of the race.
