Our Performance in the Park program offers your talented students the chance to showcase their skills in a thrilling atmosphere, surrounded by enthusiastic spectators. Worlds of Fun is buzzing with a passion for music, so let’s get your students in on the action and make some unforgettable memories together!
New in 2024: All groups must register online in advance based on timeslot availability. A $50 registration fee applies for each timeslot.

Registration Instructions
Performance in the Park is a non-adjudicated event where your students perform on one of our performance stages or midway in front of park guests. Performance in the Park is available any public operating day based on mutual availability.
PLEASE NOTE: You will select and register for a performance time. Payment must be received within three weeks of registration (if paying by check) or our timeslot will be released.
How Performance in the Park Works
Register Your Performance Group
Complete the online registration with a $50 registration fee per performing group, to reserve your performance time. The registration fee is non-refundable, non-transferable, and must be received prior to finalization of your scheduled performance time. The $50 fee is for registration purposes only and does not apply to your ticket purchase. lf paying by check, a copy of the invoice must be mailed with payment to ensure proper credit to the correct ensemble.
Order Your Tickets
Each person entering Worlds of Fun will need to present an admission ticket or a season pass to gain access to the park for the performance. This includes students, directors, accompanists, chaperones, group members, family, and friends.

Meal Options
Worlds of Fun makes it easy to take care of your group during your visit. The following meal and drink options are available:
- All-Day Drinks: Enjoy refreshing Coca-Cola beverages all day, with only a 15-minute interval between refills. $10.49/person
- Single Meal Deal: Includes one entree, side, and a regular drink at participating restaurants throughout the park. $16.49/person
- All-Day Dining: Enjoy an entree and one side item every 90 minutes at participating restaurants throughout the park. $29.99/person
- Premium All Day Dining: Enjoy an entrée and one side item, or a snack, every 90 minutes at participating restaurants throughout the park, plus, All-Day Drinks. $36.99/per person
Perform and Have Fun at the Park
After your students have wowed the crowd with their music, they can let loose and savor all the amazing experiences Worlds of Fun has to offer. From world-class rides like Zambezi Zinger to amazing live entertainment, they'll create unforgettable memories with friends that will last a lifetime.
Frequently Asked Questions
Performing groups must consist of at least 15 members. The registration form must be submitted at least four weeks prior to the requested performance. Please list your preferred date and performance time along with your performance needs and submit it along with your group’s video. Groups will perform at a designated location within the park, which is determined based on music and sound needs, as well as the size and type of the group. You will be contacted once this information, along with the video of your group’s performance, is reviewed and approved. After approval, you will need to print, complete, and submit the ticket order form at least three weeks prior to your performance. Do not submit the ticket order form or advise your group of your performance date without prior approval.
Performances that are not pre-paid at least three weeks prior may be canceled. Due to the numerous performance groups in our park each day, these performances must be coordinated with entertainment to ensure the venue and needed equipment is available on the day of your performance. Our performance venues are in high demand, so if no tickets are purchased, we will have to release the reserved venue back to entertainment for their use.
Bus parking is free. Bus drivers will receive a complimentary admission ticket by presenting their valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) at the Admission Services window. The complimentary bus driver ticket does not include the picnic meal or bottomless soda wristband.
One (1) complimentary chaperone admission ticket will be given for every 15 admission tickets purchased, unless otherwise noted. Complimentary chaperone tickets are admission only and do not include add-ons. Please note that season passholders in your group do not count toward the total group number that would qualify for the complimentary tickets.
Bus parking is free.
