While Worlds of Fun has plenty to offer when it comes to fun and thrills, we all know that fireworks are the main attraction during Star-Spangled Nights. Lucky for you, we’re spilling the secrets this summer — head to these featured viewing areas for the best views and vibes during Worlds of Fun’s firework shows.

Please note that fireworks are scheduled for specific durations and times, and that they are weather permitting and subject to change.  

Star-Spangled Nights is a parkwide party, but your family is sure to have the best time at these viewing areas.  

Operational Notes for Star-Spangled Nights  

This 4th of July bash at Worlds of Fun promises to be a huge party, and that means that certain standard park operations may be changed. The following rides will be scheduled to close early in preparation for Star-Spangled Nights. 

  • Patriot – queue may close as early as 8:00 PM, and operations will cease at 9:30 PM for fireworks 
  • SteelHawk– queue may close as early as 8:00 PM, and operations will cease at 9:30 PM for fireworks 
  • Skyliner – queue may close as early as 8:00 PM, and operations will cease at 9:30 PM for fireworks 
  • RipCord – queue may close as early as 8:00 PM, and operations will cease at 9:30 PM for fireworks 
  • Spinning Dragons – dependent on weather conditions, operations may cease at 9:30 PM for fireworks
