Flying Dutchman

A high speed circular ride in which the guests sit in boat-shaped cars suspended by cables which raise in the air while the ride is spinning. Must be 46 inches to ride unless accompanied by a supervising companion.

  • 20 2-passenger boats take passengers gently through the air in a circular motion

Height Requirement: 46" or accompanied by a supervising companion.  Hand-held infants are not permitted.

Rider Safety Information

  • A circular ride with moderate speed in which riders sit in a boat-shaped carriage suspended by cables, which rise into the air while the ride is spinning. 
  • An individual seatbelt secures each rider across the thighs and pelvis.
  • Guests must have a minimum of two functioning extremities; one functioning arm and one functioning leg.
  • Guests with a cervical collar, neck brace, or braced arm cast are not permitted to ride. Full leg casts must fit safely in the ride unit.
  • Alternate access is available at the ride exit. Riders will have to transfer into the seat, on their own or with the assistance of a companion.
  • A transfer device is available upon request which may assist a rider out of a wheelchair and into the ride unit.
